Melody in f minor
Lucas Werkmeister, .Just a short, springy melody.
The longer backstory is that the day before recording this I was at the Komische Oper Berlin (Modest Mussorgsky’s The Fair at Sorochyntsi, it was great!), and since the topic of folk music came up I tried to put together a little piece in a similar style in my head, and after a few minutes I had something I quite liked – and then the opera started and thoroughly drove all other music from my mind :( The next night, I tried to piece together what it might have been, but instead this melody came out, which is very different but still nice, and I haven’t put out a recording in a while so here it is.
